Monthly Goal Setting August/ September
I’ll be honest in saying that my goals fell apart a little this month and I really don’t have much to show for it. While I am really bummed out and disappointed in myself, August was a rough month for me. We learned that our visas were yet again delayed. With no end in sight we had to move (again) out of our sublease and into a new place for the 4th time this year. I also started experiencing some breathing problems associated with my office and after spending weeks coughing and not being able to breathe at work I had to make the decision to quit my job. It was really hard to find myself back where I started 3 months ago with no job and in the middle of yet another stressful move, waiting endlessly on a visa that has not materialized.
Moving into September I have some plans that will be keeping me busy and on the road. I am so excited for these plans, but I’m a little worried about staying in a good routine and getting back on track with goals so I am trying to keep them attainable.
1. Weight loss
Like I said, my goals didn’t go according to plan so this is staying on my list. My current goal is to lose 5 pounds this month. This is going to be a pretty big challenge because I am going to be on the road for the ENTIRE month go September. I am still figuring out what I need to do to stay on track while out of town so if you have ideas let me know!
2. Learning a new skill
I’ve been spending some time lately doing some online coding classes and I want to keep that up. So this month I am committing to working on it every day.
3. Blogging regularly
My poor little blog has been so neglected this month while I have been trying to navigate moving and being sick. This month I want to get back on track with publishing regular blog posts at least once a week.
