June goal setting
Writing up my goals in May, actually really worked for me. I was able to follow through and be successful in each and every one of my goals. So I figured I would go ahead and do it again. Here is what I am working on this month.
1. Meditating every day
I have tried before to get into meditation and never really been able to but with starting a new job, taking some time to meditate each day seems like it would be really good for me so I am going to give it a shot.
2. Live on just my income
Even though we are pretty good at managing our finances, we have honestly never been really great at budgeting. We were fortunate enough to be able to pay off our student loans last year but we really want to work on beefing up our savings, so to force us to do that we are going to live on just the money that I make.
3. Drink enough water
This sounds silly I know, but I am reallllyy bad at remembering to drink water. I feel pretty confident that the last month has put us on a good health in terms of our diet, but I really want to work on making sure I am staying hydrated. My goal is to drink 70oz of water per day.
So there it is, this is what I am committing to for the next 30 days and here is hoping with a little dedication I can get through it. None of these goals should be as hard as cutting sugar, but with my new job, I want to keep my goals realistic and I do plan on keeping up with most of my old goals in the meatime.
