Monthly Goal Setting: September/ October
I Im writing this post from the airport because I spent the ENTIRE month of September traveling. With the being said, my goals for September were definitely a challenge so let’s dive in and see how I did.
Learning a new skill: I’d say I did pretty well at this. I tried to dedicate at least a few minutes every day to working on an online coding class on code academy. I worked my way through a few different courses and feel like I gained a pretty good understanding of the basics.
Weight loss: I was SO CLOSE on this one and I am pretty bummed I didn’t quite make it. BUT I feel really accomplished given the situation and I will just have to try to do better this month.
Posting regularly on my blog: I feel good about this one. I was happy with the number of times I posted this month and hope to keep it up.
Like last month, I am a little nervous about my goals this month because of my travel plans but I will do the best I can. Here is what I have in mind.
Exercising daily: One thing I didn’t do nearly enough last month is exercise. I want to get back on it, even though we will be traveling. So I am committing to exercising for 30 minutes a day.
Not watch TV: Since I will be spending a part of this month on vacation, I want to maximize what I do with the rest of my time. Giving up TV seems like a good way to stay productive this month.
Photography: I really enjoy taking and editing pictures. I’m no expert by any means but this month I want to dedicate some time each week to try and learn more about my camera and how to use it.
