A November Update
Hi, it’s me. I’m still here! Things have been a little bit busy lately so I haven’t been posting as often as I would like. In the last month, life has changed quite a bit. Our visas have arrived! While we still haven’t nailed down plans for exactly when our move will happen, it means we are now transitioning into moving mode. I also made a last minute decision to go visit my sister and help with the kids on part of their drive home from the East Coast. I’ve got a pretty hectic couple of months coming up (including some super fun Iceland plans) so I’ve decided to put my goal setting on hold in the short term and give myself a little break before the new year.
Before I do that, I feel the need to follow up on my October goals. With life being a little hectic, I will admit I didn’t do great. I did make sure to keep up with 30 minute daily activity and with a couple of exceptions I did pretty well at not watching TV. I didn’t get aroud to working on my photography as much as I would have liked but that is something I hope to continue working on.
I’m grateful for the changes I’ve been able to implement with goal setting in a time in my life where I felt really lost and frustrated. But I am also ready to take a break and prepare for what is to come in the next few months. November and December will bring holidays, lots of trips to see family, packing up our lives in storage, visiting Iceland, job hunting, and so much more. While there will be a lot of work and stress, I am so excited for what the coming months have to offer.
